Job Description:

Named a Fast Track 100 Company by the Sunday Times and one of Europe’s Fastest Growing companies by the Financial Times, having successfully launched in New York in 2017, we’ll be opening our offices in California in 2018, and we are looking for a bright and enthusiastic Sourcing Coordinator based in Los Angeles.

Reporting to the Regional Director, and working closely with our Sourcing & Produce Specialist, the ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized and self-motivated. You will oversee day-to-day office duties and operations, communication with farms and customers in CA, and will work closely with our operations, sourcing and sales teams. Given the early stages of our CA operations we expect the right candidate to grow into a management role, working in one of the most exciting and innovative companies in our sector, and delivering significant positive impact to our society.
 

 

Responsibilities & Day to Day Duties:

  • Timely consolidate product availability lists and manage price lists
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of orders
  • Manage order confirmations, place purchase orders and prepare invoices timely
  • Quickly communicate order changes, shortages and replacements to customers
  • Maintain documentation for our CA food safety certification requirements
  • Perform monthly Farmer Market visits and compile content for our seasonal news
  • Manage office communications and incoming/outgoing mail
  • Maintain warehouse/office supplies and interact with building management
  • As time permits, maintain Natoora CA social media

 

Experience & Skills:

Our ideal candidate has relevant experience with a produce or small food company and in office management, is incredibly hard working, passionate about produce, driven to deliver outstanding customer experience, and has the following traits:

  • The curiosity to learn and the ability to grow
  • Experience in fresh produce or local food system is a plus, but not required
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
  • Extremely detail-oriented and ability to perform/deliver under tight deadlines
  • Computer savvy, proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Google Drive
  • QuickBooks experience preferred, experience processing A/P and A/R is a plus
  • Photography & Adobe Photoshop experience is a plus
  • Candidates will be asked to show proof that they can legally work in the US

 

Compensation: This position is salaried, less than 50k. You can expect a competitive salary, excellent training and the opportunity to create a career as you are part of a team at the on-set of a brand new region for Natoora.
