2018 NNGA Conference

The Northern Nut Growers Association (NNGA) will hold its annual conference from August 5 - 8, 2018, at Le Baluchon EcoResort, in Quebec, Canada.

Among the presentations on nut trees are the commercialization of hazelnuts, incorporating nut trees into a permaculture/silvoculture farm, growing nuts in cold climates, the nutrition and health value of nuts, and the DNA Improvement Kit for Nut Tree Improvement.

For fun we will have a guided tour through the woods to search for wild edibles; a side trip on Monday for the companions and children of the participants to the historic city of Trois Rivieres; and time to enjoy the hotel's amenities and delicious meals while meeting nut growers from all over Canada and the U.S.

More information about the conference can be found here.
