Mid-Atlantic Care Farming Summit

Join Future Harvest CASA and Red Wiggler Community Farm for the first ever Mid-Atlantic Care Farming Summit on October 16, 2018.

Care farming is the therapeutic use of farming practices for health, social, or educational purposes for vulnerable groups of people. This full-day summit will focus on care farming for the benefit of individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities.

Join us in sharing experiences, talking through challenges, and brainstorming ways to improve the field. This is a great opportunity for Farmers & Community Members of all backgrounds to learn more about our inclusive practices.
