In this second webinar in the Wallace Center series on institutional investment, we are focusing on the role that institutions of higher education play in this work. Colleges and universities have unique opportunities and face specific challenges in shifting their food procurement to be more local, sustainable, and equitable. This webinar will cover the challenges of working with university procurement, and some creative approaches that are working on the ground. It will feature a plenary-style discussion with a diverse group of practitioners working on this from around the US, including representatives from Real Food Generation, Farm to Institution New England, Commonwealth Kitchen, Ohio State University, and UNC Pembroke.
