Culinary incubators drive new start-up businesses — those which, without a health department–licensed commercial kitchen, could not legally produce their food. In addition to producing food, commercial kitchens can be used to shoot TV shows, teach cooking classes, and host food tastings and other events.

Farm Service Agencies (State Offices)
The Farm Service Agency (FSA) assists U.S. farmers with a variety of conservation and financial services. As part of the Department of Agriculture, its main tasks are stabilizing farm income, assisting in land and water conservation, offering credit to new or disadvantaged farmers and ranchers, and providing recovery assistance to farmers following disasters.

The Sustainable Agriculture Education Association promotes and supports the development, application, research, and exchange of best teaching and learning practices in sustainable agriculture education and curricula through communication, training, development, and collaborative activities for teachers and learners.
The USDA's Agricultural Marketing Service maintains a listing of farmers markets throughout the United States. Market information is provided to AMS from various sources, including state market representatives, market managers, and consumers. The farmers' market database is updated on a regular basis.
