Apply for a Free Course in Climate + Change with Sterling College

The Continuing Education Department at Sterling College will offer a six-week, fully online climate change course that offers a ray of hope to those facing the daunting challenge of climate breakdown through gaining scientific knowledge, emotional understanding, and practical tools. Apply here.

Developed and taught by Dr. Heather Short, "Climate + Change: What to Expect and How to Meaningfully Respond to the Defining Crisis of our Time" provides participants with an in-depth understanding of climate change science, its impacts, and meaningful responses needed to bring about transformative systemic change. The course will run from May 8th to June 18th, 2023. 

It consists of one live session each week as well as pre-recorded lectures, readings, ungraded assignments, and discussion forums. Upon completion of the course, learners will receive a certificate of completion from Sterling College.

Through the generous support of the Canaday Family Charitable Trust, Sterling College is able to offer the course free of charge to selected applicants from countries in the Global South and Global North.
