Protect Funding for FoodCorps

Last week, we shared with you the disheartening news that the federal government is making drastic cuts at the AmeriCorps agency. As a proud AmeriCorps grantee, FoodCorps—alongside the entire national service community—has been dismayed by this news. And, we've been united in taking action. 

Since last Thursday, FoodCorps' Save AmeriCorps action campaign has generated almost 4,000 letters sent to members of Congress. If you haven't yet sent a letter, it takes just 1 minute and a few clicks. Every message matters right now!

AmeriCorps members reached more than 528,000 students, taught 19,800 hands-on food lessons, and conducted 14,000 taste tests. Cuts to AmeriCorps will jeopardize our national service program and threaten the funding that helps us reach kids. Thank you for helping protect our programs at this critical moment.
