JAFSCD Releases Call for Papers on VCC

JAFSCD Launches New Value Chain Coordination Briefs Series.
Submissions encouraged!

The Journal of Agriculture, Food Systems, and Community Development (JAFSCD) is pleased to announce publication of its first Value Chain Coordination Brief, Unlocking Institutional Food Purchasing: Contract Strategies for Values-Based Sourcing, authored by leading experts in the field.

JAFSCD’s new Value Chain Coordination Brief Series is being published in coordination with JAFSCD’s Value Chain Coordination Editorial Circle (VCC EC) and is supported by cooperative agreement between the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service and The Food Connection at the University of Kentucky.

The VCC EC currently has TWO CALLS FOR BRIEFS: One on a wide range of topics across the marketing domain of the food system, and one special topic call on institutional purchasing. The VCC EC oversees the peer review of concise, practice-grounded briefs from researchers, practitioners, and collaborative leaders advancing resilient, values-based food economies.
