Food Sovereignty Symposium & Festival

This event is open to the public. The symposium focuses on indigenous and broader topics of food sovereignty that impact how communities and individuals control and manage their food systems. The festival is a celebration of indigenous, local, and regional foods. 

 

This event will be held on the University of Wisconsin campus and surrounding sites in Madison, WI. It will be held in conjunction with the 6th Annual John Kinsman Beginning Farmer Food Sovereignty Prize on Saturday, March 11th.
